"Had a lovely 2 night stay here at the Steam House. Check in was smooth and no problem. Room was large and very comfortable. Very quiet inside at night considering there was a busy bar right outside.Liked the Jules Verne theme. The complimentary breakfast left in the room was a nice touch. The walk into the old town area was about 14 minutes.Would definately stay here again."

The electronic locks were a little odd at first (unlocking the main door with your code will then unlock your room door as well) but we picked it up quickly. "This is a charming and warm historical property and well worth my visit for the one night. I stayed here. The family is warm and caring and makes my trip so much more enjoyable as I sit in their backyard amongst fields of agricultural pursuits with wheat and other products in the process of growing, the sounds of songbirds and the neighboring roosters which did not make any sound thank God last night or this morning along with the hen add to the wonderful ambience. I am delighted I stayed here....

"After booking and before arrival, communication was very easy and fast and complete. The whole place is spotlessly clean. This is the first and only place I did not mind not having a private bathroom. Any time of day it was clean as if it had just been cleaned. "It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "
