"My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience throughout. Before we even arrived Salvatore was responsive with messages and arranging our late check in. He greeted us as soon as we arrived in the car and showed us to a parking space directly outside the property. The masseria is stunning and the rooms are very unique! My first thought was, is this a museum or a hotel!? It was marvellous. The 200 year old family artifacts throughout the room and the rest...

"Bella struttura situata in pieno centro a Matino, un paese molto carino situato a 10 minuti da Gallipoli, e in una posizione strategica per chi ha voglia di visitare la tante meraviglie che offre il Salento. La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato è risultata pulitissima, ben arredata, silenziosa, dotata di una grande e comoda terrazza. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. "The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. "Tommasso and Maria are fabulous hosts who go out of their way to help. They came one day with pastries for us and there were refreshments and snacks for us in the refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, kitchen very well equipped! Loved the morning sunrise on the balcony with a visiting cat who greeted us everyday. The only negative was no wifi but Tommasso brought us a modem. And the thirty stairs to get to the unit. It’s not a problem for most but I have mobility issues "
