"Everything about our stay was fabulous and Crossways Inn is now on our radar when we want to spend extra time on our holiday in Cornwall. The food deserves a mention, delicous, locally sourced produce perfectly cooked - both dinner and breakfast. The room, bed, shower, air con, decent size coffee cups all made our stay extremely comfortable. This was the best stopover experience we have had - thoroughly recommend!"

"All of the above plus convenient parking. Lovely pub garden and also seating space by the river opposite the front. Lovely village. Felt the worn mattress should be replaced. A weird dip in the floor and some plusher carpet. A bigger TV would make viewing from the bed easier. Nice bathroom that looks recent."

"Fabulous stay at the George inn. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Love the quirkiness of the pub / hotel. It's a beautiful old building and has rich history. The breakfast is fantastic, our family room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Excellent car park and superbly based to see the gorgeous surroundings. Highly recommend anyone staying here. "

"What a pretty pub. When we arrived all staff lovely and helpful. after a change cmw down for deinks and was so dog friendly. We didnt eat as eaten before arrived but it was well attended sonwould come back another time. Bed comfy, weren't affected by the pub re sound. Lovely and cosy."

Despite seeing some negative reviews prior to our stay, we found them completely unfounded. The pub is a stunning example of a place run by people who truly love what they do. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel at home instantly. Booking through Expedia was straightforward, and the room rate was very reasonable. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly....

"A pleasant stay in an attractive country pub The room was spacious and thoughtfully decorated. The bed comfortable. The food was good especially the breakfast. It is in a pretty village good for walking outside. Plenty of parking. Would like to see double glazing on the windows as right by a road. However this isn’ta problem at night as very quiet and peaceful. The room was exceptional with vaulted beams and chandeliers. A lovely bathroom with pleasant toiletries but the shower shelf on...
