"Absolutely great hotel. Fantastic food, private beach, all inclusive drinks (even on the beach!) and a lovely pool. Very good location wise if you're looking for a bit of relaxation, 2 near by quaint villages either side of the hotel for those that like to do a short 40-60 min walk. Would recommend 1 evening in Makarska approx 30 mins away by taxi /bus shuttle just to experience something a bit different to the hotel (but hotel evening food/entertainment can't be faulted). The local drinks part of the all inclusive package were all of decent quality- overall Would love to stay again "

"Absolutely brilliant! The house is beautiful and so welcoming. Magda has decorated every corner with care. Lots of quirky features. Great terraced garden and wonderful views. Great location although you do need a car unless you are a hiker. Central for Dubrovnik and Split as day trips with lots of Riveira resorts nearby. We had a great stay and we wanted for nothing. Thank you Magda for your hospitality. Xxx"

"We have just returned from a lovely 2 week stay at Villa Olivia. This is the place for total peace. There are no near neighbours. The villa is as described. Milan takes enormous pride in his property and communicates well at all stages of the booking and the stay. He makes every effort to ensure you have everything you need. The villa and grounds are very clean and comfortable. It is perfectly possible to walk down to Podgora, about 30 minutes, but take the taxi number with you from the info folder. (Unless you are really fit!) There are a number of good restaurants and bars in the town. Milan will recommend. We would definitely recommend this place."

"Really lovely, clean villa in a stunning location however you need a car to drive into Podgora where parking is very difficult, especially in August, as it's very busy. We had a couple of issues with coffee machine not working, no gas for the BBQ and no parasols but this was dealt with quickly by Iva although one small parasol by the pool was not enough (5 of us huddled under it at one point). There was a lack of cups and glasses especially when 7 people are drinking water all day (possibly only around 7 or 8 glasses in total) and there were no plastic cups or glasses for the pool area which was dangerous, especially with children. We had to buy single use plastic cups to use by the pool which is really bad for the environment. On a positive note though the villa was very spacious and comfortable, including the beds and sofas and having an en-suite to each bedroom was just brilliant. I would recommend this villa, just needs a few more things in the kitchen."
