The surroundings of Podetrtek are ideal for outdoor activities. Numerous hiking and cycling trails lead through picturesque landscapes with forests, hills and vineyards. Visit the nearby Olimje Monastery, an impressive, historic building with one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe. The monks also make their own chocolate, which you can sample.
