"Adjacent a main highway, but the traffic noise wasn't bothersome for us, though it might have been if you wanted to leave a window open. The breakfast area seemed a little too small for the number of guests, and in particular the coffee machine was a real choke point. Great location for exploring. We found delicious kebab at the beer fountain park in Zalec and toured a very nicely restored castle in Celje. "

"We were biking thru Slovenia and the staff at Gorska Reka were super helpful- they let us store our bikes in their bike shed, and they lent us a phone charger. And the food was delicious!!"

The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves some amazing home cooking. The staff are kind, helpful, and multilingual, and they make sure each guest is treated like a king.
