"The hotel is within short walking distance to town centre. Walking to appariton hill and cross mountian is pleasant specially when the weather is cooler. The ladies in reception are very helpful. The staff at the restaurant for breakfast are attentive making sure there is always warm food and you have all you need. Have stayed twice in this hotel and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Looking forward to our next stay."

The property is at a great location; it is a five minute walk to the old town. We liked the hotel and staff so much that we changed our plans to extend our stay there!"

"If I could give Hotel Herceg more than 5 stars I would. Everything about this hotel was amazing. From location to the staff. The hotel is at the heart of Medugorje. A very short walk to the church, nearby shops, and restaurants. My family and I walked to Apparition Hill which was about 25 minute walk (highly recommend to walk, see the houses, and the Divine Mercy statue & well), and we walked to Cross Mountain. A bit further but doable. The staff were amazing! Every person we met was friendly, hospitable, and extremely kind. Will not be staying anymore else if/when I come back to Medugorje. AMAZING AMAZING STAY ! God bless this hotel. "

"We were so happy to have seen other reviews that led us to this beautiful hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and over the top kind. The location is gorgeous. You walk down stairs to get to it as it is situated right by a river. We ate a delicious traditional dinner (highly recommended) that they asked us about our interest in when we checked in as they had to start preparing an hour before our dinner reservation. We were able to sit on a patio overlooking the river and an old bridge. They had romantic string lights set up and it was such an incredible evening. We were happy with the location as it was literally right outside the street bazaar that was fun to shop at after dinner and the next day. It is close to the famous Mostar bridge as well and in such a charming location. The only thing we would recommend is asking for a shower mat as the shower floor was very slippery. I am not sure if they have that but it would be worth checking. We only stayed here one night but loved our experience so much that I wanted to be sure to repay the favor and recommend this to others. As a side note, we went in late October so we know it was less crowded in Mostar than other times of the year but we loved it. We also recommend the restaurant Tima-Irma that is on a street near by. We ate lunch there. Their traditional meal for 2 was amazing and only 25 Euros and huge. "

"We had a nice stay in Pansion 1 (room 42 oct.13-19) just across St. James church. Stojan and Andjelko are very helpful and friendly. The chef is very kind she prepared our food with smile..the only downside is the parking just only 4 parking spaces. But overall it is great pension house. i recommended to our community and friends. Me and my wife are definitely back again here next year. Dennis&Emy"
