Prime location in Plymouth! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a getaway with easy access to Downtown or a short ride to the Cape.
Owner is very responsive to questions and anything that comes up during the stay.
If you're planning on visiting Plimoth Plantation/ Mayflower II and touring downtown Historic Plymouth, this is the perfect house. It's a <5 minute drive from each of those locations, and also down the street from Long Beach.
Enjoyed a nice time at this rental. Kevin was very helpful, house had everything we needed, pool was a favorite activity, close to all that Plymouth offers.
Kevin was very accommodating and communicative. The house was well stocked with kitchen items as well as plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable. There was even an ADA chair/stool for the shower, which was perfect for one of my family members. The large patio was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here.
Had family in town for daughter's wedding. House was spacious, and the outside seating was a big hit when the weather cooperated. Communication with Kevin was clear and he was very responsive. Great location - near town and near the beach. Would definitely recommend.
I loved staying at this house. The deck was the main attraction. It was HUGE and had a lot of seating for a lot of people. We were very impressed with the amount of linens left, and the cleanliness of the house. I would definitely stay at this house again and recommend others as well!
The location of the property made touring Plymouth incredibly easy and simple to navigate. The house has a lot of charm for its age and we appreciated Kevin as a host. Very pleasant to communicate with.

Disappointed with interior of home
The house is very outdated and should not be on VRBO. You can visibly see the floor by the stairs in living room is sinking to the basement. I took pictures of the floor. Molding is missing all around the house and hasn’t been fixed, replaced or painted. There was a 4” drop. I I lost my balance several times. There wasn’t one comfortable spot to sit in living room or dinning room. Rug in living room was very dirty and needs cleaned. Living room had 2 recliners that made sounds of breaking every time you raised it. Couches were literally benches. Awful. Furniture was very old and in need of replacing. Bathrooms were good except the upstairs tub took hours to drain. The kitchen was extremely outdated, but it was stocked with everything you need. One TV in the whole 5 bedroom house. We were stuck watching what the kids wanted because we had no other choice. You should have TV’s in all bedrooms. The outside was nice but the pool was dirty and had to be cleaned before we could use it. We love MA but I would not stay here again.
My family of 6 stayed at Pool House for a weekend.
It is very clean. The pool/hot tub/patio space with fire pit are all great! The house is very close to the historic walk places and the Long beach where we stayed for half a day and saw the Osprey nest and had delicious meals in the restaurant on the beach.
We did not bring anything for cooking, but we ended with cooking breakfast ourselves. There are some rice/pasta in the kitchen---much appreciated.
Kevin (host) is very quick in responding our inquiry.
If there are any suggestions for improvement, I would say : 1. While the beds are comfortable, they make noises when you get on/off or turn your body. 2. communication via vrbo is not bad, but sometimes you might not get them in time. So it might be better to put a sign/letter for the guest if the guest are not allowed to use something in the house---e.g. in this case, the hot tub was treated with chemicals and we did not see the message from the host and used it even though the chemical did not really make us sick, but it can be avoided. 3. the fire pit---it would be nice to have an instruction card hung off the firepit or a sign saying open here on the door for keeping the propane tank. The fire pit is well enclosed and one can hardly tell there is a door for accessing the propane tank. LOL.
Overall, it is a very nice place and owner is very friendly and we had a good time! Thank you!
Very large, quintessential New England colonial with plenty of room for five adults and two kids. Not able to take advantage of the beautiful patio and outdoor area because of three days of torrential rain but was able to accommodate an additional six people indoors for a day after wedding get together with no problem, with plenty of seating area in the living room. Kevin was very quick to respond with our one weather related problem. Would highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking for a large, very clean place.
We had a great stay. The kids loved the pool. Very close to just about anything you may need and the owners were very helpful amd quuck to respond to any questions.
Really enjoyed our stay at this house. Do not expect a brand condo. This house was built in 1850. We enjoyed the reminence of feeling like we were visiting grandma's house. The house gets the job done and has all of the necessary updates to keep it comfortable, including air conditioning in each room. The ouside living is really were it is at with this house. Enjoyed the pool, gas fire pit, large patio, and the new hottub. This house is also very close to everything you would ever need in Plymouth and does not break the bank.
