Nice clean house with lovely garden, fab indoor pool (perfect as we were staying over Easter when the weather was sunny but cool) and hot tub, kids had fun with the pool table too. One downstairs bedroom (helpful for me as I recover from a broken ankle) and shower room and three upstairs bedroom with upstairs bathroom. Kitchen is small but fairly well stocked with equipment.
It's in a very quiet residential area, surrounded by farmland with a short walk to some lovely little bays and short drive to Plouescat where there is a bakery and other shops.
Francis was a good host who worked hard to get a couple of small niggles with TV and Internet fixed for us, which was really appreciated. A bottle of local cider awaited our arrival too. Communication was great once we arrived, we just would have felt a lot more at ease if some
detailed written instructions had been shared in advance of our arrival - we had to contact for anything and were just told what time we could arrive, nothing more.
What would have been most useful to us as visitors - and what we normally receive from other property rentals - would be the house name (it has no outside signage, but luckily was recognisable from the roadside from online photos) and address, directions, where to find keys, maybe some tips on how best to enjoy our first time visiting the area). There is a printed photo guide in the house, but all in French, and I am afraid our French language skills are very poor, so it did not help us so much.
All in all, once we arrived though this did not have a significant effect on our enjoyment of the property which has some great amenities, and I think its a good house for one family or maybe a family plus grandparents to rent.
