"We’ve just returned from a gorgeous 2 weeks away in this beautiful house. We were 2 families staying at this house situated in the picturesque outskirts of Plouescat. The house was was just the perfect base for travelling further inland and to local beaches. The house has a lovey covered heated pool, and the children loved the addition of the pool and table tennis tables. There is plenty of outdoor spaces to sit and chill and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the area or equally enough room for the kids to run around and play. The availability of bikes was great which gave our teenage children the independence to cycle to the local bakery or nearby beaches. We had days out to the aquarium in Brest and an amusement park La Récré des 3 Curés both about 50 mins away. We explored the local beaches our favourites were at Plage de Plouescat and Saint Pol de leon about 20 mins away. The hosts also provided lots of information of the local area. There was a market in Ploucescat on a Saturday and markets in most of the local towns all of which were all about 25 mins away. The local town of Plouescat a few mins drive away had a couple of lovely bakeries where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. As well as a reasonably large supermarket and petrol station. "We enjoyed our stay in this modernhouse with its well designed and amply supplied kitchen, eating and living areas. But there were some drawbacks. The four bedrooms on the first floor were lovely, the one on the ground floor rather gloomy and impractical. Storage space in the bedrooms was generally limited and lacked hanging space. We felt that one toilet on the first floor was hardly adequate for eight people and the lounge floor one was rather public and awkward for the ground floor bedroom inhabitants. None of them had wash hand basins, except the one in the spa area which had no lock. The main attraction was the pool and hot tub, enjoyed by everyone, particularly the children. Wonderful! The outside area was a little smaller than we’d expected, but the seating area was pleasant and the barbecue and play area welcome extras. The farmland location was quiet and totally untouristy; in many ways we appreciated this. It gave us a more ‘French’ experience to enjoy. However, we found finding a restaurant in Plouescat extremely challenging and.difficult, especially for ten people and resorted to travelling forty minutes to Morlaix or Landerneau to find anywhere. "

"The property was as advertised and had a full range of facilities. The holiday home comfortably fitted in seven adults and five children. The basement was a great space which we used regularly for games of table football and pool. The addition of a go kart, bike and garden games were great and the large garden surrounding the property was perfect for the children to play in. The location was excellent, with a short walk from the local village, an intermarche across the road and then a beach a 5 minute drive away. It was located 25 minutes away from the ferry port in Rosoff which made it an ideal get away for a week. "
