8/10 Good

Spacious and convenient but not perfect
Overall the house is very good - a well equipped kitchen, large dining table and good sized living area all in a single open plan layout. We were five adults and there was plenty of space.
Although generally well equipped, the dishwasher worked on only one program and there was no internal facility for towel or clothes drying. Luckily the weather was good so most times we were able to dry outside. One day when it rained we used the 24hr launderette at the InterMarche in Plomodiern.
The small bed is really only suitable for a child, which is not made clear and the room it is in is tiny. The bathroom facilities are ensuite to the other bedrooms (apart from the downstairs loo) so again unless you are a close family or the fifth person is a child this could be awkward.
The bed in the room with the shower and loo was broken and was rather uncomfortable and creaked very loudly as a result.
The location is excellent - close to very nice beaches (although there was an 'algae bloom' for a couple of days which partly closed the beach and made a dreadful smell - apparently not uncommon in this part of Brittany) and travelling to the Crozon peninsular, Langdenevec, Doarnenez etc. was quicker and easier than I thought it would be.
We enjoyed time on the beach, visiting local towns and villages (all of which seemed to have a church with some point of interest), the old town of Locronan was nice and had a good walk in the local countryside, and the GR34 coastal path is very nice wherever you pick it up.
Overall a relaxing break helped by the weather.
A few final points: there was nothing provided in the way of cleaning materials for the bathrooms, no tea towels and beware the mosquitoes at night!
