"Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. Great outdoor space, with barbecue, table and chairs, loungers and, of course the view. Jean- Pierre speaks very good English and lives above the apartment. He is very helpful but not intrusive. Très lumineux avec une vue dégagée. Faire attention au linge de lit car ce n'est pas un lit standard mais il est très confortable et grand. Prévoir également torchons, serviettes, tapis de douches...Heureusement il n'y a pas eu de neige à Gérardmer car l'accès en voiture aurait été compliqué pour accéder au parking en hauteur derrière...

"Dominique’s apartment was perfect for our stay in Gerardmer. It was beautifully presented and had so many personal pictures and ornaments all with a “New York” theme. We would go out in to the surrounding countryside everyday and then return late in the afternoon to sit out in the garden. We used the bikes that were provided to cycle in Gerardmer and around the lake.
