"The house is directly on the beach, the view is stunning, the deck has comfortable chaires. This beach is never crowded and very quite. There is a sandy part perfect for children, and rocky part perfect for snorkling. The most famous beaches, Perl and Grand anse are on tbe right and on the left, 10 minutes and 20 minutes walking distance. The trail to Grande anse is so beatiful! House has everything for cooking if you decide to cook at home. I cannot imagine the better place!"

"La maison de Béatrice est très belle et confortable. Bien décorée , fonctionnelle et très calme.A l'ombre l'après-midi, elle met a l'abri des grosses chaleurs. Son emplacement permet de visiter en moins d'une heure les sites touristiques de Grande Terre et même une bonne partie de ceux de Basse Terre.La petite plage de Babin à 5 minutes en voiture est très agréable. De plus , les propriétaires sont très discrets et sympathiques..A recommander sans hésiter."

"We enjoyed a very restful vacation at the Villa Ponm Kann 'L in Deshaies. The view was lovely. The house was very clean and well equipped. The covered deck was an added bonus as unfortunately we had rain almost everyday but we were able to be outside with out getting wet. Easy walk to the bakery. We felt very safe and quiet in the neighborhood. A car is required to get groceries and go to the beaches and other activities. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to return."

"Je pense que les choix de location sont principalement dictés par les photos.Quand nous avons recherche une location quelques semaines avant notre départ, il ne restait pas grand chose et au vue des photos, on comprenait pourquoi certains logement n'avait pas été loué.Et puis, nous sommes tombés sur l'appartement de Simon dont les photos ne sont pas forcement avantageuses, ni la décoration, mais laissez moi vous dire que l'appartement est clairement sous coté; c'est très grand, il ne manque...

"Great place to stay. Philippe, the host was kind and responsive to our requsts. Even drove halfway around the island to get us coffee filters. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"

Très grande, avec son côté champêtre, accueillante, beaucoup d'équipements, située dans la marina près des restaurants et épiceries à distance de marche. La terrasse ouverte sur la piscine et marina, quelle vue magnifique, sans oublier son lever du soleil , sublime avec les voiliers en avant plan. Endroit calme et très reposant. 11 jours beaucoup trop court! Merci à nos hôtes, Francois et Raïssa très sympathiques et disponibles...

"Louise et Max sont des hôtes exceptionnels, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable dans leurs petits coins de paradis. Même si nous nous trouvions dans leur cours, c’est très privé et ils sont très discrets. L’endroit est encore plus beau en personne que sur les photos. L’emplacement se trouve au bout d’un chemin ou il n’y a pas de trafic. On entend que des bruits de campagne. C’est assez central pour facilement visiter Grande-Terre et Basse-Terre. Une petite épicerie pas très loin en voiture...

This section requires a lot of renovation and clean-up. The bathroom was unbelievably dirty. There was mouldy grime between the tiles in the shower cubicle and the bathroom floor.I had to buy AJAX and a scrubbing brush to clean it off. The room was not so bad.
