Her warm welcome and that of her staff made our trip to Cuba, and in all she simply could not do enough for us. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The room perfectly acceptable for the price and the beach at Playa Larga gorgeous. The hostal was perfectly positioned for the beach being only a few meters away ( at a guess, less than 100). Do not expect 5* homogenised luxury. Do expect to meet real people whose warmth and kindness made my stay perfect. "
