"I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. "

"Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"The property was accurate to the description and very clean. The pool area is very nice and we spent most of our time outside in the pool having fun. The home is located in a authentic area and sets behind the jungle so the views was actually more then I thought there was. I will be back for sure"

"Great house! So clean. Great location. Concierge very attentive. Trail outside the front door to graffitied abandoned hotel a must. Zero complaints regarding house. Just to provide heads up to others… we experienced significant traffic from airport to house making drive a bit more than expected. With that being said… I would still make the drive to stay here again."

"Had my bachelorette party with 14 of us and it was nothing short of amazing. Jen, the host and owner is a true professional, far exceeded all my expectations. Everything was planned from the moment we got out of customs; tours were all close by, location is perfect. Loved seeing the monkeys on the property and even spotted a sloth. "The property and its view is as beautiful as the pictures describe. Tino provides great assistance as the day to day property manager. The pool and surrounding areas is wonderful and the 11 grandkids loved it. It is very close to the beaches, Jaco, and a host of other sites. The one huge negative is the driveway getting up to the property. You literally feel like you are taking your life into your hands each time up and down because it is so treacherous. "Although in a beautiful location, this home needs some work. Two of the guests felt so uncomfortable that they left for a hotel! Overall, most of us was ok, but some details such as pics of all the rooms on the listing and status of electronics should have been detailed accurately!"
