Where to stay in Playa Grande

Learned how to surf here a couple of years ago. I dream about going back to this amazing country. #adventure #surf #beachfog #costrica

Playa grande is a tiny town with maybe 5 places to eat. It’s 40 min to Tamarindo unless you walk down the beach for 10 min to a water taxi- then walk on the other side to the main strip. It’s just too hot to do all that.

Bring nothing but comfy shoes, particularly ones you can spray off like plastic flip flops or water resistant shoes. We went during the dry season and it was very dusty so we had to spray down our shoes every day.

Go to El Huerto Pizzeria, the best pizza in Guanacaste! Highly recommend it!
