"This is an adorable villa set into the residential neighborhood with a warm manager, Kostas who makes time to accommodate the guest and make them feel at ease. The city is adorable and this location made us feel like part of the community while only a 5 minute walk (up 4 street / stair cases) from the main plaza. The 2 rooms on the top floor each have balconies with exceptional views and great cross ventilation to take advantage of the breezes. I highly recommend! Enjoy!"

"Ideal location from ferry terminal and easy to find. After a long journey from the UK, this was exactly what we needed. A friendly welcome from Nicos, who then made sure we had everything we needed. "Beautiful old building, allowing you to experience what an old “archontiko” would be like. Perfect location for us, but there are some steps that cannot be avoided. Staff are simply wonderful and incredibly kind. With a few simple changes this place can become exceptional. Our A/C unit was pretty old and was not doing a good enough job. Room amenities could be improved. A bottle of water in the fridge for example would be very much appreciated."

"The hotel and staff were excellent and did try to accommodate my food choices (I’m vegan ). Generally I think more vegan options could be made available now we are in 2024 and vegans are more common. Even non vegans choose plant based sometimes. Anyway the hotel was lovely. We did feel under pressure to leave at 11am precisely at check out time but did appreciate the lift to the port area. I would recommend this hotel highly however. "

"If you get a sea-view room the location is just spectacular. Room is good but quite basic and the decor is charming and a bit eccentric. Note no coffee faciltites in room but I think you can order coffee. We asked for ice and they brought us ice. Fridge in room is decent. The staff are very lovely and knowledgeable and Syros is really great. Ermoupoli is very special and this hotel is a really lovely place. Do go for a swim! "
