"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay last month here! The owners were so nice and even drove me from the beach to the hotel and back to the beach as i arrived early for check in! They allowed me to use their services until my room was ready! I would definitely recommend anyone coming here as everything was clean and owners were amazing and i felt very safe as i had came on my own! I will definitely come again!"

"The hotel has lovely grounds, and is quite quiet. It is said to have an excellent restaurant but we didn't eat there. Our room was very comfortable but the sliding doors on the patio didn't lock. The bellhop had a carpenter cut two pieces of wood to secure the door. We were satisfied with this response. We would recommend Garza Canela. "

"Beautiful Villa, these instructions would help a lot when when new customers are trying to find the villa. "When you arrive at Platinos, continue past the "Platinos" sign on your left. From there, head past the sign and you will come to a hill with lots of rocks in the road. Continue up the hill roughly 1 kilometer and until you reach the gate to the villa."

"We enjoyed everything Playa las Tortugas had to offer from the ocean to the estuary to the pools to the sunrises/sunset. What made everything so easy and special was having Maria and Mario there -- they were both so great! They attended to anything we needed in terms of transportation, planning excursions, getting snacks/groceries, getting across the estuary, and even gave us ideas of things to do with the kids we hadn't thought of ourselves. We really appreciated being able to communicated easily with John before we left. He really took the time to answer all of our questions. Everything was wonderful and relaxing. "

"Cool little spot firther from any amenities than I anticipated. Las Islitas was a 10min drive and very cool place to hang out. The beach at Kavala was pretty good, a bit less swimmable/beach vibe than expected but great for walking up and down at sunset. Overall nice stay, just a bit of a small isolated vibe. Enjoyed the pool too, though its quite small."

"Overall, the staff was very friendly and tended to our needs. The place is built new but the design in the shower could use some work (water got all over the restroom floor). We did eat the food which was excellent at the restaurant. The beach is a short walk away. We would stay again for sure."

"Kayaks were available for a nice paddle around the estuary. It was lovely."
