"We enjoyed a stay here with 9 of us, 5 adult/kids (age 15-22), and 4 parent/adults. The house is as beautiful as advertised in the pictures. Each bedroom is essentially a master suite. The kitchen was very nice, with everything you'd need to cook meals and more. We very much enjoyed playing pool outdoors but under the overhang in the evenings when it would rain sometimes through the week. The beds had very comfortable mattresses and pillows. "This house is located way up on the mountain. It has a beautiful view of the Whales tail. From the bedrooms and pool deck. Inside the house is very spacious. Plenty of room for two families. It was just me and my wife. Adri the caretaker is great and will help you out if you need anything. The pool nice but was a bit cold when we were there .You will need a all wheel or 4 wheel deive vehicle to get upthe mountain "

"Location was very difficult to find. The code provided to us was wrong. Did not get responses from the host and timely manners. AC unit in the bedroom didn’t work. Gardener was there too early in the morning being loud. The refrigerator was not working for the first 24 hours."

"Our group of four just loved this vacation home and it's owner Michelle. The home is surrounded by the jungle and lots of Costa Rican wildlife. We loved the many different areas to relax in and around the house. The furniture was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were fantastic as well! A big bonus was the boogie boards and beach chairs available for use. As recommended by Michelle, we hiked the trail on the property to the beautiful river. It was a great experience...

"Beautiful home, yard and patio. Saw tons of humming birds, a few toucans, and an abundance of other birds. There is also a family of coatis living on the edge of the property that would come out in the yard on occasion. Even got a visit from a white-tailed deer one morning. The home is well stocked with dishes, utensils, towels, etc. and the patio was our favorite place to hang out, both in the morning and evening. Owner and property manager were both very responsive during our stay."

"This is a truly beautiful home in a stellar location. The view will blow you away. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. The road to the house is well-maintained and makes for easy access. 2WD seems reasonable in dry season, but I would imagine 4WD is key if it rains. The property owner and management team are all very responsive and helpful."

"The property is amazing....i can see why its named the 8th wonder of the world. The home is biult right into huge rocks but you dont feel like you are in a cave. Robert has designed this home beautifully and uniquely. I would recommend you take advantage of his culinary skills and have him cook you a meal upon your arrival. It was soooo good....and a lot of food!!!! Pasta...braised ribs...roased artichoke...fresh cheese bread....house salad with home made dressing...shrimp...
