"This is a great historic hotel that has been renovated to an upscale boutique hotel. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with the local blueberry liquor and a homemade cookie which was a really nice touch. The room was spacious, quiet and so comfortable. Noise was nonexistent and automatic black out shades were greatly appreciated. The breakfast was buffet style with something for everyone. This historic home comes to life with placards and artifacts from its earlier days. This hotel is highly recommended and we would love to return here one day! Offsite parking is available with about a 3 block walk to the hotel. They will provide assistance with luggage if required. "

"It's located right on the river, with many restaurants nearby. Very scenic area. The castle and a cathedral were visible from my room. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The young woman in reception walked outside with me to show me where I would be picked up for my trip to the airport."

"It was in a perfect location for really getting to enjoy the Old Town and the castle. just up from the river, it was centrally located to all the life that lives along the banks. The outdoor movies that were shown during the film festival were a pleasant surprise. The room was extremely spacious, and having a Lidl just up the street meant we could stock the fridge with the necessities we needed. The only drawback was the creaky floors, but it just gave the place authenticity. It felt like being a writer in the 1920s who had escaped their home country & holed up here to finish the novel. I hope it's still there when I have the chance to return in about 10 years."

"Very clean and functional. Rooms compact but well designed - would have liked more storage space though. Arrived early, room ready, but was not allowed in without paying 10euro an hour which was poor service imo. Otherwise great stay in a top location close to the centre and old town"
