The room was very spacious and comfortable, and while I liked it, my wife found the decor a bit odd with its use of unfinished wood furniture. "This is a wonderful hotel in a spectacular location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the views are sensational, the owners are very helpful, the food is very good and reasonably priced, and it is very well located for exploring the Dolomites (Tre Cime, Seceda, Adolf Munkel Weg, Sella Pass, Grödner Joch, etc.) The road up to the hotel is a bit daunting the first time, as it is narrow and curvy, but after the first time it feels perfectly comfortable. "My friend and I stayed at Residence Contrin on a hiking trip to the dolomites. The small kitchen was just enough with everything we needed to make breakfast or a simple dinner. The apartment was clean, and laundry on the property was very handy. The location was great, a short walk into town with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. Would definitely stay again. "
