"Our experience with booking was great. Upon arriving in resort, we were nervous to find out that there was no snow at ground level, and that the closest lift at Vallorcine was closed due to this. We were directed to Le Tour, using the train and bus, which were free with the tourist passes provided, and were accessible and regular. "Such a lovely new chalet in a great location for summer walks. Really well equipped but for us personally we’d expect to see a WiFi connection in a property of this type. It made things quite difficult for planning the rest or our trip and there was no way of watching a movie on those stormy days."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! The property is joined to their home and is beautifully decorated with everything you would need for a visit to the Alps. They also allowed us to keep skis, boots and poles in their garage. "Lovely property with ample parking for 3/4 cars, lots of space to store equipment and enter through the garage rather than messing up the floors in the house after a day on the slopes. Used the sauna a couple of times which helped with tired limbs. The hall way has a handy cloak room space and storage for coats and boots. "This is a beautifully decorated old chalet apartment with good size bedrooms and living space. The Sauna and hot tub are also fantastic to help relax at the end of the day, although to get to the hot tub you have to go out of the main door located next to the road, so not totally private, The kitchen is well equipped and also has raclette machines and a hot stone for a typical Haute Savoie style meal.
