"This is a clean, well kept and quiet hotel. I’ll stay here again when visiting Kalamazoo. I didn’t like though, that the hotel charges $4 for a to-go cup of coffee, if you don’t purchase the breakfast option. I’ve not experienced that at a hotel of this level. It’s normally complimentary. Breakfast looked very nice though, so… next time. Charging for breakfast always keeps away the bed heads shuffling around in slippers and pjs. It’s well worth the cost. "

"They first room smelt like cat piss soon as you open the door backed right out and went and got other room but for the price it’s what you would expect "

"We stayed here as a home base for our mom trip away. It was quiet and relaxing. We spent our two days traveling between saugatuck, south haven, and plainwell and then came back to the lake house to relax. The hot tub was in a perfect location that felt private, but we could still enjoy watching wild life. The kitchen was fully stocked with both cooking essentials and some spices. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We would stay here again without hesitation. "

"This Lakeside House is perfect for a weekend getaway. We did a weekend as a group of 8. The location was lovely with beautiful sunsets. Being pet friendly was also a plus. Host has excellent communication. Would recommend this stay."
