"Very beautiful resort with a lovely beach. It was quiet even though it was full. Everything we tried at the restaurant was delicious. Everyone at the resort was kind and thoughtful and made our favorite drinks, even if they’d never made one before. Outstanding place."

Love the property care takers!

"Yayme and Jorge were wonderful. I don't think I've had better. They were friendly and took great care of us. I had some communication problem with our concierge, Erica. Mission Villa is in a perfect location. We really enjoyed ourselves."

Umaya good for the money

"Umaya Resort is a great place to stay in Placencia. It is about 20 minute drive to the town. The resort is clean. It does need some updating and better care to details. For the price, it is a very good choice."

Holy goodness! This place serves THE BEST Indian food. The chef is from Mumbai, worked at a 5🌟hotel in Dubai, as well as India.
For the record my boyfriend hates curry and has never eaten Indian food but loved this place. The Naan is just the best thing ever. The staff is great, and they even have a tuk tuk that will pick you up from your hotel and drive you back and forth.
