"We stayed here for a rugby weekend, and found the location to be perfect. Short walk to the stadium, and very central to all other attractions in the town. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough. The restaurant on site is brilliant. Great set menu for dinner and good choice of wines and champagnes. "I stayed at the hotel 9 years ago and whilst it is very convenient for the rugby it is starting to look a bit worn. The air conditioning didn't work which made sleeping quite uncomfortable. The staff were good and attentive and food choice and quality at breakfast were very good. The price of drinks was very competitive compared to bars around the area. The location of the hotel is brilliant if you are there to watch rugby or to walk across the road to the quayside and it's many restaurants. "

"Great location, reception staff super friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault them. Rooms are pretty small, air conditioning unit was poor, didn’t really have an impact and was cooler to sleep with the balcony door open! Rooms were not hugely soundproof. Housekeeping was a bit poor. Had to keep going down to reception for things the housekeeping didn’t top up e.g. milk, shower gel, even toilet paper!"

"It was a simple room, with few outlets but OK. The biggest problem was that I had a spectacular wipeout in the bathroom. It was partially my fault as I didn't use the towel bath mat, but the floor was extremely slippery as there was no separation between shower and the rest of the bathroom floor (no barrier to the water). I advised the hotel that they should coat the floor with some slip-resistance coating. When the WiFi didn't work the second day, the front desk gave me another network...
