House of Zion, the house on the top of the “Hill” at the edge of the city and convenient to everything. Make yourself at home in our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Perfect for families with kids, couples and solo travelers.
The space:
The space is very family-friendly and perfect for couples, professionals and traveling ministers. We love our neighbors and intend to maintain the serene, quiet atmosphere we have all come to enjoy. To that end, the property is entirely non-smoking and we ask folks who are seeking a party place to please consider a different home.
Our home has two nicely sized bedrooms and a smaller bedroom. We want you to have a good night’s sleep while away from home …
Rear bedroom (next to the bathroom): Queen adjustable bed accompanied by a chesser (dresser/mirror), 50” smart Roku TV and USB night stand for charging your devices and an iPhone charging alarm clock. Beautiful view of the back yard. Need to iron? Close the door, you’ll find the iron and ironing board there!
Middle bedroom: bright and sunny with morning light. Comfy queen size bed with high quality linens and pillows with a variety of firmness, 50” smart Roku TV, full closet, dresser and nightstand.
Front bedroom: Twin-sized comfy bed in the safari (still Pittsburgh) with plenty of pillows and high quality linen. Complete with dresser, touch USB lamp and luggage rack with small closet. Perfect for kiddos and those wanting to be alone!
In the living room, you’ll find a long couch, ample pillows, a 55” Roku smart TV and a lovely reclining chair. Can’t usually get out of the reclining chair? Let our chair help you up! You can also sit on the deck just through the sliding glass doors (access best through the rear door that also allows you access to the garage).
Open concept dining room with 4 comfy chairs for even more seating.
The kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you’d need from dishes, cookware, utensils, wine glasses, toaster, microwave, etc. (inspired by the lady of the house who loves a good kitchen and happens to be a tea snob but don’t worry she looked out for coffee drinkers too). Many pantry items are available including coffee, tea bags (of course), sugar, condiments and spices.
The bathrooms have been equipped with fluffy towels, a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a few “I forgots” (like a toothbrush or other toiletries you may have rushed out the door without). The upstairs bathroom is a full one with shower/tub combination, while the basement bath is a shower/vanity/toilet combination.
The basement contains both a washer, dryer and some laundry items to help you along. The entertainment area is also in the basement – a 65” smart Roku TV, equipped with games and featuring theater seating. Need popcorn? Remember what I said about the lady of the house and the kitchen! LOL Need to prepare your sermon, a desk and a few office supplies await you.
