"A great apartment. It's very big and spacious and everything is new and it's been decorated to a high standard. It's great having two large double rooms and the bathroom is ideal. Large living area and very well equipped kitchen. Very clear check in instructions are given. There is an extra cleaning fee of €60 if you don't want to strip the beds, mop floors and take out the rubbish yourselves. "The owner was on site. Helpful and friendly. The property is lovely. Spotless and cosy surrounded by woods and greenery. There is a pool and a place to sit and lounge outside. The unit had everything we needed with a thoughtfully equipped kitchen and well appointed living room. Highly recommend it!"

"We were 6 in the property- grandparents, parents and children. The property was furnished to a good standard (all bedrooms are doubles but our boys shared a bed). Kitchen very well stocked. WiFi was set up with plenty of routers but didn’t work while we were there and didn’t get fixed. Pool was heated (a massive bonus) and I would guess about 8x4m in size. Supermarkets 10 mins away by car - all open Sunday mornings."

Château d'Augerville Golf & Spa Resort 5*

"This is an incredible property for gophers. The grounds have a pond that is private and natural with fish. The golf course is vast and beautiful. There is a state of the art spa., and, all is affordable."

Great place

"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night and there were also lots of bugs. Someone in our group also fell down the stairs and broke their foot, the stairway is a bit steep in case you have elderly people. The second house had a lot of bees inside the house, I think there is a nest somewhere that needs to be relocated. All in all, a fantastic house with a great set up. We had the best time."

Great base for a bouldering trip with friends

"18 of us stayed in this lovely house for a week. We loved having the large garden, especially the outdoor games on offer. The house itself was really nice with a good size lounge, well appointed kitchen and separate dining room. The local village is very quiet and the nearest town has a great bakery and a few supermarkets. If you're visiting the area to boulder, there's one spot only a ten minute drive away (Buthiers Piscine) and many more great options within easy driving distance. The only thing I'd advise is going with a slightly smaller group, 15 max. It's really only big enough for that many as there's not quite enough spaces around the dining table nor seats in the lounge to fit 18 and three people have to sleep on mattresses on the floor. Also, 3 bathrooms between 18 is a stretch. Communicating with the owner was very easy, they were really helpful and responsive. We would happily stay here again, with a slightly smaller group!"
