"An outside construction was in progress during my stay. Quite unpleasant, just outside of my window. At the arrival, I received a bottle of Italian Frizzante, as an apology. Nice gesture. Bed was confortable, room was clean. However, drain in the shower did not work well. Breakfast was OK, but with pastry few days old. Check out was not very pleasant, basically ruined my stay. I was left with mixed feelings."

"Excellent value. No front desk, but immediate service upon calling a phone number. Parking spots are inside the handsome backyard. Very clean and very well maintained. There is a shared full kitchen, also spotless and a few tables to sit down at. The room has a minifridge and a small TV. Great central location. I would definitely book it again."

Great location, far enough away from the congestion of Subotica, but close enough to everything you need, dining, shopping, banking, etc. The lake is steps from the front door, with bike and boat rentals. The hotel is beautiful, with only very minor maintenance issues (some plaster loose/missing). The room, while a bit small, was one of the most comfortable I've had in any European country. "The guesthouse is a bit off the beaten trail but I found it to be quite enjoyable. The staff was helpful and the accommodations, although basic, are exactly what I needed. There are pools which I didn't use but they are attractive. Breakfast was especially good with eggs and bacon cooked to order. There were several other items at breakfast too.The town is small and the lone restaurant decided to not be open one of the nights I stayed. I didn't have a car which that caused a bit of a problem....
