"We chose this place to stay as it was fairly central to many of the things we wanted to do (caves, jet boats, hikes, Rotorua etc) but we wanted to stay somewhere rural and quiet. It is a beautiful property and cottage. There is a Berry farm right next door that does fresh fruit ice cream which is delicious! The property posting said there was laundry available but didn't mention it was 10 per wash/dry...would be good to add that detail for future guests. Would definitely stay here again!"

"On a whim, we decided to take a night away. Barely 90 mins away from Akl, and less than an hour from the beach at Raglanwe found an absolute gem & nature retreat in beautiful rural Ngaruawahia. Host Gaylene's attention to detail & delightful gardens made it easy to relax straight away. We would highly recommend & hope to return soon. "

"Great place to stay especially if youā€™re travelling with a dog. Property and grounds are very nice and would recommend as a relaxing getaway. The property is well appointed with the small things like adequate toilet paper, condiments and coffee pods. Would stay again."

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed location was awesome with a great outlook. Somewhere to really relax and unwind after a busy day. "Beautiful location, grounds and cabin. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee.
