"The host greeted us and showed us to our lovely spacious room. It’s in a very quiet area (apart from a cockerel 🙃). Breakfast was great - a continental style plate, fresh cornetti amongst some of the options. We would recommend and will return if coming through this area again. Thank you 🙏"

"My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. Rita, the owner, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The 2 nights we stayed she cooked us delicious & authentic homemade meals, complete with wine that is bottled on the property. "We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"The apartment is small but charming. Very close to everything in Modena. We were out most of the time so it suited us. No kettle. About 40 steps up to apartment so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Great communication with the host"

Fabulous Hotel, Great Location.

"We always stop here when we drive to the U.K. and then home again. The hotel is easy to find, ample parking and has clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are incredibly helpful and we’ve never had a bad stay. Will be back again in a couple of months on our way home. "
