"The views are amazing! The room overlooked the sea and there were lots of outdoor spaces to sit. The breakfast was great with so many pastries, meats, cheeses and the gentleman who set it up and made my cappuccino was very friendly! I got up very early one morning and he was kind to make me a cappuccino before 7!"

"Hervorragende Unterkunft: schön eingerichtet ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack, alles in sehr gutem Zustand. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit großem Obstgarten rundherum. Äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Schönes Angebot an eigenen Produkten (Obst, Gemüse, Olivenöl, Spaghetti, Wein...), unkompliziert über ein internes Bestellsystem zu bekommen. "We stayed at the Mare Verde Villaggio for one week. My family of 4, with 2 children (9 and 3 year old) had a great time. The village is safe for younger children, the beach and the swimming pools are wonderful, and the water in the sea is crystal. The village is also staffed by wonderful people, friendly and helpful. "We had a very happy week here. The view over the sea is stunning and the apartment was spacious and comfortable for 7 people across 3 generations. Populonia is tiny and although very atmospheric, you do need to drive for about half an hour to get anywhere else (shops, beach etc).
