"Nice room with a very comfortable bed and a very good breakfast. Restaurant service was also very good. Only disappointment was dinner in the Rabbit restaurant, not worth the money. Beautiful ingredients, well presented but didn't taste amazing for the price. Have the chefs ever tasted the Hake in a Chicken broth, a waste of hake? Would eat the bar food next time."

The room itself was clean & spacious with a great view (ensuite was small but they warn you about that) and breakfast was one the nicest I've had in a hotel. As for the staff, they were so friendly and helpful especially when we checked in late."

"Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!"
