"This is my second time staying at the property and it was the same magical experience. This time around I just wanted to relax and enjoy the property. And that I did! I spent my days enjoying the trails, in enjoying the multiple fireplaces on the property. And of course the dinner. The food wine and port made for an unforgettable stay. "

"Beautiful place if “lavish” for me. Great staff, super clean, amazing bed and shower, really nice breakfast. Get a room overlooking the water. I ate at The Library Bar both nights (January; very very few options) and It was fine as well as the service. Wineries within walking distance and decent trek right from hotel into the hills "

"A group of cyclists. Staff were very helpful in letting us store the bikes. Great to be able to chill in the pool each afternoon. And i love the work that the hotel does with people if special needs. Keep up the good work. "

"The stay was very relaxing. Nice property and good mountain view from the Family Villa. The manager Ms. Carlota was very kind, polite and accomodative to every request.She arranged for special decrations for my daughter"s birthday. "This was my 3rd time staying at QdLR, yet I think this is my first review of the property(?). This is a solid gem in Pinhão. Although about 0.5 km from the town, the location means it is quiet. Wonderful, spacious room, excellent restaurant, and scrumptious breakfast, not to mention great wines and ports from the on-site winery. I had the trip from hell to get here and arrived late. "We had a very nice stay at this hotel in the mountains. There were some nice (though not easy) walks nearby me the hotel felt much like a wellness retreat. We opted for 1/2 board (breakfast dinner) since there were not a lot of spots nearby and the driving made me a bit nervous. The menu had good selection and I appreciated seeing wines on the menu from their Duoro vineyard location. "

"Great spot overall. Banilda at the front desk went above and beyond. A rainstorm leaked through some of the walls and they shifted us to another room that was a definite upgrade. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a great deck. Would love to come back."

"This is a quiet spa resort in the countryside. I stayed as it is dog friendly and needed an overnight on way through the area. Very nice place. A bit dated. Lots of people on package tours. The restaurant is decent, and the prices are fine. The gardens are lovely. Unfortunately I was unabelt o try the spa facilities but definitely will come again. "

"We had a most delightful two day stay at the Casa do Santo. Our wonderful host, Maria was full of local and historical knowledge and made us feel very welcome. Many generations of her family have tended the winery upon which this beautiful boutique hotel is built. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with beautiful views of the vineyards.
