"This hotel is out of town and is very quiet. You can walk or ride a bike and a quiet road running by the hotel. The facilities are spacious, clean, and well-kept up. A shuttle is provided to get into town at any time. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. They booked tickets to the Impressions show and provided a ride to and from the event. I had a massage in my hotel room which the staff booked for me. And, the food! So good! It’s unusual because it isn’t Chinese food. We love Chinese food, but this restaurant has outstanding selections from all over the world. It was a nice change during our stay in China—pizza, chicken cordon bleu, a baguette sandwich, and even a hamburger and French fries. Try the fruit smoothies, too. Out of this world! You won’t be disappointed with your stay here. "

"This place is a long way from Yangzhou, about 40min. Pictured are misleading, as it is on a dry river bed, not on the Li river. Once you get over the shock of being so remote actually the service is very friendly, beautiful hiking and amazing rooms. The pool is only in use over the summer months. A great place to get away from the noise for a couple of nights. Bi far away from Yangzhou activities. "

"Hotel at a very convenient location, next to bus terminal (RMB5 to HSR station or RMB15 to Yangshuo) and the Xingping old town is after the bus terminal. Very clean and pretty hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms that river facing can see pretty sunrise too! The breakfast corner is a bit small. Some dishes without signages. We also wish to have more food choices. The coffee machine occupies the middle of the walk way. It probably makes more sense shifting to the desert corner or the furthest end. With some pre-brew coffee put at where the machine currently is. Also not many noticed there is the smaller coffee cups and wrongly took the bigger mugs."

"Another magical stay at Li River Resort, and it won't be my last. Their excellent food is some of the best in town and their wonderful warm and accomodating staff are second to none. The rooms are comfortable and stylishly done. Many offer heavenly views. Without being cold or pretentious, the hotel is elegant, inviting and intimate with noticeable attention to detail paid at every turn. Perched high on the bank of the Li River fantastic mountain views make for a magical and impactful sense of place and memorable outdoor dining. An easy 20 minute walk that winds peacefully along the river, down the narrow country road, will take you directly to the boat landing and all of the action of bustling West St. If you don't feel like walking, there is a hotel shuttle, or you can get a taxi for less than $5."
