"The view over White River was beautiful. We could see a lot a great stars in the night sky sitting on the deck. The hosts were super hospitable, even leaving out some toys and snacks for our 4 year old who came along. There is only a single sink in the kitchen, but it worked out for us. The drive up is dirt and steep, but our SUV had no problems."

The only bad thing was the air unit made an awkward noise every time it kicked on. There was also quite a bit of dried blood splattered on the living area floor. It looked like maybe for a dog claw. "This is our second stay at one of Walt and Amy’s accommodations. It was very clean and spacious. The rental is well stocked and included everything we needed. They did a great job renovating the apartment and created a warm, comfortable place to stay. We will continue to look for one of their places when visiting Mountain Home."

"Very private and beautiful sunrise view over the lake. Birdlife in August was spectacular. Air conditioning was great. Bed is comfy. I don't like air fresheners but there was only one and we put it outdoors. Wasn't any actual coffee supplied but the grocery store is two minutes away. The coffee maker and tea pot were great."

"This apartment was adorable! Decorated so cute and made you feel like you were in a cottage in Colorado. We had 2 grown teens with us, and it never felt cramped. The layout is very efficient and well thought out. Located in downtown Mountain Home, it was a short walk to restaurants, cafes and shopping. Communication from the host was expedient and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again."
