Great retreat facility for Staff Team
This was a great place for our staff team of 8-10 to have our annual retreat -- we were able to cook for ourselves, and the large den was great for our programs and discussion times. Having 5 bedrooms with a variety of bed configurations was helpful, too, as we could only have one person per bed (two rooms have more than one bed, which is how we could accommodate our 8 folks). Also the tables and chairs at the lake resort recreation center were great for a short program at the end of our time. Good places to eat around in Pine Mountain, as well.

Always a wonderful stay near Callaway
We come to the area every year for the Steeplechase and love this property! It’s perfectly located, has plenty of room for family and friends to spread out, and everything you need in the kitchen. Happy to be back, thank you for the hospitality!

Had 2 levels for multiple ages and families--good space for groups. We got to Callaway Gardens easily and were able to make all our meals at the property. Owner's communication was great!

The cabin was better than the pictures showed. Everyone loved the place and its beauty. The host made everything easy from getting in and what needed done when we left. It was the perfect place for 7 men who havent been together in 40 years. We loved golfing at Callaway Gardens. Thank you for everything.

Our stay…
My group of six fisherman has stayed in the chalets for most of the last 20 years. This chalet was by far the nicest one we have been in. It had tons of space, chairs, tables, utensils etc. it was well appointed and clean. The bathrooms were better than the others. Overall I’d have to highly recommend Caymus Cabin when you’re planning a trip to Pine Mountain.

Generational fun
Four generations stayed at this spacious property and loved it. The cabin had everything that we needed. I would recommend this cabin to anyone and would gladly stay again. Michael, the host, was so kind when we had trouble getting into the cabin. The only drawback, which we were advised about, was the stairs. With the younger ones help, we managed fine.

Nice Cozy Cabin in Pine Mountain, GA
The cabin was great and matched the description on the posting. It accommodated my family of 12 just fine. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious and there were gathering areas upstairs, downstairs, and outside on the patios. The only negatives were the WiFi didn't work (we still had AT&T cell service) and the complimentary recreational equipment (tennis rackets/balls, pool cues/balls, ping pong paddles) provided was inadequate for use at the resort facilities (missing balls, pool cues missing tips, rackets from 1960s, etc). That being said, I'd stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed the clean, spacious fully-equipped cabin as a our first family Christmas trip. The fireplace was awesome with enough wood to make it through some very cold nights. The area was quaint, very quiet and well-kept. We simply enjoyed everything. What are you waiting for?!

Great Place to Stay
I was with a group of 7, including children ages 10, 8, 5, and 7 months. We loved the house. It was clean, comfortable, spacious, and conveniently located to Pine Mountain and Callaway Gardens. The property owners responded to all of my questions and helped me when I had a problem getting into the house - I was using the wrong code. The staff members at the office were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

House was extremely spacious. Held four generations of my family well.If you have infant/toddler being a baby gate.Lots of amenities. Mini golf, rec. room,ping pong, and pool table.stocked well.Look one direction ,there is a rolling field, the other a german style neighborhood. Lake is nice.

GIRLS TRIP
The property was just as described!! Communicating with the owners was a very refreshing experience. They were quick and pleasant to respond. They were very HELPFUL!. The lake was nice to go fish in. The cabin is located close to the town which was nice, but far enough out to enjoy the scenery and enjoy the peace and quiet. Enough space for everyone. Everyone thought the place was just wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent house close to FDR State Park
The house was spacious with all the necessary amenities. Communication with Michael, the property host, was outstanding. He went above and beyond to answer questions and keep us updated on conditions as a tornado rolled through the area just before our arrival. Having access to the club house with minigolf, table tennis, etc., was a nice bonus. The only thing I would recommend changing is the basic spices/cooking oil/etc. provided in the kitchen. Regardless, our group really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend the Caymus Cabin to anyone coming out here.

Shower curtains full of mildew, carpet lower level filthy, recliner chair so stained, leather couch ripped. We left one day early, didn’t want to stay in those conditions. We communicated with the owner and he stated he would correct the situation. He did refund us one night stay.
