My family met for a family reunion, and overall the place worked well. We had plenty of space, and it was convenient that every bedroom had its own bathroom and air conditioning control.
The patio was a pleasure to use, and the back yard was nice. We particularly liked watching the trees twinkle with lightning bugs.
The location was fine. You are a little out of town, but the drive is short enough not to be a problem. There are plenty of things to do in the area, but you should be aware that some things, like cider houses tend to be open only on weekends.
The biggest problem we had concerned power and water. A line of very strong storms went through and knocked out power early one evening. When the power goes out, so does the water. No tap water, and you get one flush of the toilet using the water in the tank. We had people sweaty and covered with sunscreen and bug repellent who couldn't shower off and were not happy. The power came back after 5 hours, just before midnight, so it ended up being nothing more than an inconvenience, but after that but we had twinges of worry if thunderstorms approached. Most of the neighbors had generators, so power outages are not completely unusual.
One more note for planning purposes: the upstairs bedroom with 2 queen beds has a couple big set of drawers, but no closet.
