"This is a beautiful stone cottage set in a quaint village with direct walking access to the chatsworth estate through a kissing gate. It is set over 3 levels. On the ground Dining and kitchen, Second floor sitting room and enormous bathroom with bath and shower, 3rd floor 2 double bedrooms. One caution is the spiral stairs which were quite steep. Everything has been done to a very high standard. The roof support is a tree trunk. Quite impressive. Ate breakfast at Wheatsheaf over the road....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with a beautiful garden and plenty of room within the property. There were seven of us and didn't feel on top of each other. There are a few niggles, although I put them into the category of observations and not complaints. The bed in the 'very' large bedroom was very creaky, and is perhaps time for a new mattress. There was damp in the shower room, although it is the end of the season. There were used pots of honey on the dining table that I think should have...

"Overall a lovely property in a great location. Points to think of - garden is small & no grassy area for dogs. Stairs need a second rail as one area cannot be held onto. Lounge has a fire that you can't use - why? Replace it with one that you can ? Torch would be useful First aid kit needed In house instruction manual with local info would have been great? Rugs all need a good clean. Well stocked property in a lovely village. Just a couple of things that we thought of. "
