"it was cost-effective because i took it after leaving an hotel and wanted a place to rest fot 1-2 hours. When I saw that the bed was clean I even slept a while. My only problem was that the room had bad smell although one guest was sleeping there. Air conditioning was not working and no ventilation in the room. Only to open the window. "

"Good Hostel...the staff is very kind. One thing to know is that they have discontinued the breakfast and have a "vending machine breakfast". It's ok...but it is good to know this upfront as they used to do a full breakfast spread. Otherwise....it is a great place, clean, and in an easy to get around area."

"Not the best location, there wasn’t any toilet paper or hand soap. Had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to come on reception to check us in. Very rude and dismissive staff. Rooms were cold, no hot water in the shared bathroom. Walls were thin so could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and outside the door. "

"This was a great hostel in an old building with lots of character. Very clean, too. It was just a few minutes walk to the Oktogon metro station and the trams that will take you straight to the parliament and castle district (change to bus 16 after crossing the river). 3 minutes away is a pizza place that stays open until 2am. "

"Good: Felt very safe at the accommodation and it was very clean and comfortable. Would stay and recommend to others. Very walkable to everything you need (shops) and to walk around Budapest. The self check in and access to rooms was cool and easy, only comment is that it becames a bit clunky and slow to use when going through multiple doors and when your phone is trying to connect to the WiFi. "The hostel has switched to fully code-based entry. This was awesome since I arrived when there was no staff onsite and could easily enter the building, the hostel and my room without interacting with anyone. The hostel is very conveniently located, meters away from the Airport Express bus stop. Facilities are clean. "A four night break at an apartment here and it was an ideal location for us. A warm welcome from the team after a late flight and close to the centre of the city. Highly reccomend and we'll hopefully be back"

"The hostel itself is set up really cool and pretty much exactly what you would expect. I will say it offered less in ways of connecting with people compared to other hostels I have stayed at and much less than others in the city. However, it was only a 10 minute walk from one of the major train lines and the area is absolutely beautiful with landmarks, and I felt incredibly safe the entire time while traveling alone. Limited dining around but for the price, you can't really beat it."

"Rooms are extremely hot! poorly ventilated no fresh air at all, room guest are a bit noisy, can’t sleep whole night !!! Bed sheets are a bit dirty and not comfortable at all, tower need to charge extra which is not common in any other hostel, key can not open hostel room unless someone else inside helps to open"

"The location of 7seasons cannot be beat! We could walk everywhere from this spot. The apartment itself was clean but plain. It had a lot of space for myself, husband and adult daughter. The bathrooms (2 of them!) were modern and clean. The kitchen was basic but had everything you might need. "

"I spent a week in this hotel, and I must say this was one of the most relaxing hotel experiences I have been to. The hotel is less than 5 minutes away from both Metro Stations and Trams, it is located around one of the most active areas of Budapest, surrounded by many dining options & retail stores. it is an excellent access point to get to any attraction around the city. The room and hotel environment is pretty quiet, there is no disturbance, quite the safe location and very comfortable rooms. I was also able to do a late check-in, letting the hotel know beforehand. At the check-in counter was Kornel, a very nice guy who has in detail, explained the available facilities, how to get to them and to my room, and provided me with brochures of available tourist attractions and travel group agents you can join to make the best out of your stay. Thank you. Also shoutout to Elena, who was taking care of my room service throughout my stay!"

"Stayed at the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle for 3 nights. Great hotel, located in a beautiful part of the city. The front desk staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. My room was clean and nicely furnished. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would gladly stay there again. "
