Family trip
Great location, close to many attractions and great food and shopping. Also short drive to go snow tubing. House was clean, loved the fireplace and pool table. Would stay again!

Very disappointed. The roof leaked, the hot tub did not work, and a broken table. The view was good. We had an issue with a toilet. Nothing but problems the entire stay.

Great stay
Me, my husband and my 87 year old mother in law stayed at the cabin. I wanted to make sure that we stayed somewhere with very few steps because here knees are bad. It was perfect for her. She stayed in the bedroom downstairs. She's said many times during these stay how much she loved the cabin.

Filthy and Run-Down
We were very disappointed to find the cabin in a deplorable condition. It did not look like it was maintained at all; many things were broken. Window blinds, dish washer rack, ice maker, door frame, stair railing, hot tub panels were all damaged or not working. It was filthy with dirt, dust, cobwebs, mold, soap residue, body hairs, stains, food residue, ripped carpeting and more. There were other people’s belongings and trash under the beds and behind doors. When I reached out to the management, I received an automated reply. I was up until 1am washing the bed sheets and waiting for someone to contact me back. No one called. I had to go through Vrbo to get a response. We refused to stay! It was an absolute hassle getting a refund, but thankfully we eventually did. The owner of this cabin should be utterly ashamed to rent such a poorly maintained unit. The gorgeous view of the Smoky Mountains draws you in, but even that was ruined by the dirty windows. A total disgrace.

AMAZING. We have no negative things to say about this cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our 10 year anniversary. Sherwood Forest resorts is such a cool area! Definitely recommend!

We had a great time. The view was beautiful. Only a few things to recommend. Have more extra blankets. Kitchen sink leaks when running it. You should also provide instructions on how to use remotes for TV. Also, hand pump soap would be better than soap bars. Other than that, had a great time.

Very pleasant stay
Cabin was clean and pleasant. Beautiful views. Communication was great. Very close to pigeon forge and made commute back and forth very nice. Late check out was very nice. Would have been nicer if there wasn’t a charge for that. Furniture and fixtures are dated and worn but in working order. Need to upgrade music system to Bluetooth, add keurig, update TV in bedrooms for Netflix,etc. seating in living room was fine, however Really only accommodate 2 people comfortably.

‘Above the Pines’ Mountain Cabin
Beautiful location! The cabin was so nice and the views were spectacular! Relaxing on the deck in the morning and evening was so enjoyable. The beds were comfortable and the decor so warm. Thoroughly enjoyed our mountain getaway!

Nice Spring Break Retreat
Great location to get to activities in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The pilot light on the downstairs fireplace had issues staying lit. Maintenance came out and relit it, but it only stayed on for 15 minutes later that day. Otherwise, a very nice cabin and location.

Overall great experience
The view was great from the porch even better from upstairs Nice and cozy, beautiful cabin Windows need cleaning, wished the hot tub would have been hotter but that's just us, when showering we had to wait in between people because the water wouldn't stay hot also washing clothes while showering is not recommended it makes the hot water take longer to heat up again Overall we enjoyed the stay and we will be returning Thank you

The view was absolutely beautiful.
The cabin was quit and close to attractions with a beautiful view. We had one issue with the fireplace not working. Maintenance came the next morning to fix it. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. I will say the cabin is rather dated . The carpet needs replaced and the chairs need be to replaced. There are only 2 chairs but need to have no less than 4.

Adult get away
We came for some hiking and sight seeing. Mostly wanted to have a place to come home to after a long day. Hot tub was great (inside) outside hot tub needed some work, but we did use it. Overall the cabin was nice and clean..needs some updates and also kitchen needs some new pots, pans, silverware and plates. Especially if you have more than 2 people staying. Beautiful views!
