The apartment is in a sunny location in Pozzale di Cadore, a picturesque, small village protected from the hustle and bustle of tourists at about 1000 m altitude, in the heart of the Dolomites, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2009. An insider tip!

The apartment is a very quiet, cozy attic apartment on the 2nd Floor with a beautiful view of the mountains and has a spacious balcony.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, sink, washing machine and all the necessary dishes.
One of the bedrooms has a double bed, the other two beds, which can also be set up separately. A folding mattress offers a place to sleep for another guest.
The toilet is separate from the bathroom (shower), each with a sink.

Pozzale is a district of Pieve di Cadore, the birthplace of Titian (10 minutes on foot). In the village itself there is a very good restaurant, a bakery, a supermarket, a post office, a bar, a kiosk.
Pieve di Cadore is the county seat and administrative center of the towns that line up in the Cadore Valley to the west to Cortina d’Ampezzo and to the east to Auronzo (17 km).

Wonderful hiking trails and breathtaking via ferratas are easy to reach from Pozzale. Pozzale is one of the stages of the Dolomite highways 4 and 5. The 'Lung via delle Dolomit' bike path also leads there. In winter, the place is in the center of top-class ski slopes; not least due to the proximity to Cortina d’Ampezzo, which was the venue for the 1956 Winter Olympics.
Other 'snow activities': snow hiking, snowboarding and cross-country skiing (cross-country slopes directly from Pozzale).
Should be in Pozzale or Since there is no snow, there are guaranteed snow slopes in the immediate vicinity from early December to late March: Cortina d’Ampezzo, S. Vito (cheaper), Sappada, Auronzo, Santo Stefano.

Best time to go hiking: May, June and September.

For those interested in history on the topic: Beginning of the 1st World war of 100 years. Around Pozzale / Pieve and in the Cadore Valley there are numerous memorial sites / open air museums etc. for the 1st World War.

La casa è bella, ben strutturata. L'entrata si trova dalla parte della strada cioè opposta alla facciata che si vede dalla foto. Le camere sono spaziose e ci sono due bagni. Internet non è illimitato. Nel complesso la casa è accogliente anche per famiglie.

L’accueil de Giorgio était top à l’écoute de ses hôtes. Malgré le problème de la langue toujours souriant et prêt à rendre service. Posto tranquillo ideale per famiglie. Il paese offre poco a livelli di servizi ma basta scendere a Pieve e si trova tutto. Gente del posto molto educata e disponibile sopratutto nei 2 negozi ( panettiere e generi alimentari ) anche le ragazze del bar disponibilissime e sempre sorridenti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo dell appartamento molto confortevole. Unica pecca il modem wi fi con scheda ricaricabile che praticamente ti prosciugava 10 euro al giorno ed avendo due ragazze adolescenti ho dovuto ricaricarla più volte

Schöne Wohnung und beeindruckende Bergwelt
Die Wohnung ist in einem gepflegten Zustand. Alles war perfekt. Vorteile: sehr ruhig gute Ausstattung nettes Dorf hilfsbereiter Vermieter und Nachbar Parken ist im Dorf möglich, kein Parkplatz am Haus, war aber kein Problem

Bellissima vacanza
Siamo stati benissimo! La casa aveva tutto quello che serve. Il proprietario,Daniele,non era sul posto ma il Sig. Giorgio e sua moglie sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili e comunque Daniele si è interessato che tutto andasse per il meglio! È vero che il paesino è un po fuori ma la tranquillità e la pace di Pozzale ci hanno rigenerati! Comunque tutto è raggiungibile in poco tempo e nei dintorni ci sono molte attività da fare anche con i bambini. Bellissima vacanza...peccato che sia finita!!!

Hübsche, gepflegte Dachwohnung mit Panoramabalkon
Pozzale ist ein idyllisches, kleines Bergdorf, sehr ruhig gelegen und hat seinen ursprünglichen Charme bewahrt. Das sehr nahegelegene Zentrum der Region in Pieve di Cadore ist ebenfalls idyllisch und bietet einige kleine interessante Museen. Auch sonst gibt es in der Umgebung genügend schöne Ausflugsziele für Tage an denen man einmal nicht wandern möchte. Man kann wunderschöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Der Ort und die Wohnung sind sehr ruhig. Wir brauchten einen ruhigen erholsamen Urlaub mit viel Natur und waren sehr zufrieden mit der Wohnung in Pozzale. Zumindest in der zweiten Augusthälfte war die Gegend auch nicht touristisch überlaufen, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Man konnte auf den Bergen viele recht einsame Wege finden. Die Wohnung ist hübsch, geschmackvoll und gepflegt. Vom sehr großen Balkon aus hat man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge. Der Vermieter und auch die Verwalter vor Ort sind sehr unkompliziert und hilfsbereit, reagieren schnell auf jegliche Anfragen.

Große Mansardenwohnung mit einem tollen Blick auf die Berge.
Das Objekt entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es ist sehr gepflegt und gemütlich. Die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher rochen frisch. Alles super. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder in dieses kleine, feine Dorf.
