The landscape around your apartment is characterised by the mighty three-thousand metre peaks of the Hohe Tauern, the gentle Pinzgau grass mountains and alpine pastures, thundering waterfalls and (mountain) lakes. Well-known sights such as the Grossglockner (Austria's highest mountain, 3,798 m) and the Krimml Waterfalls are almost a must during your holiday in the Hohe Tauern National Park and are only a stone's throw away.
The range of hiking and biking options is huge and offers everything from leisurely alpine hikes to three-thousand metre ascents, from e-bike tours to rapid descents on freeride trails and the Tauern cycle path. In the summer months, national park excursions are on the programme, where a trained national park ranger accompanies you, for example into the Rauris primeval forest, to the kings of the air, into the Valley of Emeralds or on a trip to the Arctic. Alpine mountain experiences without much effort are offered by the numerous summer mountain lifts to the Kitzsteinhorn, the Schmittenhöhe or the Weissee Glacier World, among others. Refreshment on hot summer days is provided by the bathing lakes of Lake Zell with drinking water quality, in Niedernsill and Uttendorf as well as the Hinkelsteinbad in Piesendorf. With the included National Park Summer Card, you can enjoy numerous included services (cable cars, outdoor pools, excursion destinations and other attractions in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region) and attractive discounts.
