"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to...

"Es war ein wunderbarer, ruhiger und entschleunigender Aufenthalt direkt am Waldrand über Silvester mit meinem Hund. Es gab ein paar vereinzelte Böller im Laufe des Silvesterabends. Um Mitternacht war ein wenig mehr los, was aber nach etwa 30 bis 45 Minuten vorbei war. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtetund mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein weiteres Highlight für mich war der Kamin und natürlich der phänomenale Ausblick vom Balkon. "

"We spent Xmas and New Years at the cabin. We had a wonderful time. This is an ideal place to completely unwind and relax. The forest is 2 minutes away. We were lucky we had snow, and we took winter walks in the forest. The cabin is cozy and had lots lots of character. Thre are fantastic views of the forest from the upstairs balcony. The balcony was also ideal to see in all the New Year's Eve fireworks. Udo and his family were very welcoming. Thank you we had a fantastic time at the cabin."
