"The views from this hotel, its bar / lounge/ balcony are stunning. Parking is on site which is very important in a tightly controlled historic city center such as in Assisi. "

"Very nice hotel, conveniently located. Modern, quiet and comfortable. The walled city of Assisi was 10 min away by car. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room staff was the opposite. "

"The location is fantastic! We walked to Assisi in 15 minutes. We had dinner at the hotel and the service was top notch and very pleasant ambiance. I was just thankful they had restaurant on site that I didn’t have to drive or walk elsewhere since we were tired from driving. The room was a bit small but clean and amazing view with a balcony. I didn’t have chance to use the pool and the spa, but I saw many people were at the pool. Lovely staffs! Loved Assisi!"

"What a stunning hotel! Right in the middle of Perugia old town, it’s close to all the sights. Hotel staff went above and beyond (advising on day trips, activities, restaurants). Truly a wonderful stay! "

"This is a lovely upscale hotel in Perugia city center. Walkable to tons of shopping and restaurants. There was a medevil parade going on when we arrived so we were unable to drive up to the hotel. The walk to get there was long and incredibly steep so we were unable to get our luggage in until later in the evening. Oscar at the front desk was very kind to a slightly hot and irritated guest (me!) and made the situation so much easier. We ended up very much enjoying the parade and although it was a slight inconvenience was no reflection on the hotel. There is a very cool underground pool and sauna. We had it to ourselves the entire time & it’s a don’t miss!! So cool & nice to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was very nice, a ton of options and great service. Definitely recommend! "

"Hotel Umbra is a wonderful gem of a hotel, run by a family that cares about the property and its guests. The rooms were lovely, and they have many terraces for guests to sit on and overlook the Assisi country side. I would certainly stay there again."
