"Nice view in a historic villa in a calme place."

"My husband and I had six nights in this beautiful villa in Baveno. It is high in the town with a 10 minute walk down to the ferries/train/bus, as the listing indicates. So it is perfect to explore the islands of Lake Maggiore, as well as the other towns along the shores. Being that high, the villa has an amazing view of the lake and islands. "Lovely holiday in a lovely location. The property met all our needs, kitchen very well equipped, even had a special Parmesan grater. Loads of space inside and out and the ping pong table was a hit. Views from the terrace are amazing and the pool a joy."

Angie and Alberto were such wonderful hosts greeting us at check-in with wine and pasta and even allowing us to stay an extra night when one member of our party fell ill. They even offered to order us dinner and take us to the train station! You could not feel more welcome then here!"

"A family vacation of 12 people for 5 days. The group included participants from the age of 3 to the age of 70. Everyone found their place. We managed to fall in love with this great lake. For us, the ability to kayak and bathe in the lake every day and in addition to hike in the surrounding mountains made the vacation amazing. However, please note that the house keepers are living in the house full time with your group. The pool chlorine level was too high and some family members had a rash.
