Winds Motel
2.5 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (35)
"We were looking for a Motel close to the Wood Island Ferry. This looked like it fit the bill. Not so much. Anyway, we made the best of it. It's a cozy hide away if that's what you're looking for. Clean, isolated in the back country of PEI. Really quiet and dark at night, you can see stars! Located behind a fuel station and a convenience store. The local people are friendly."

Smith Rock Chalets & Retreat
Secluded cottage situated on the rocky shores of Eastern PEI
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (38)

Nearby Montague has two grocery stores, and you can pick up local produce at roadside stands. For the best local food shopping, head to Charlottetown Farmers Market and fish shops. My husband and I have stayed in this cottage twice and plan to return again!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage! It was a good home base for exploring and visiting family nearby. The kitchen was well equipped and beds were comfortable. It was lovely to be able to look out the many windows and see the ocean or catch sight of several deer in the mornings. The host was helpful with a phone call to check in (and communication beforehand to answer questions), and the caretakers Cathie & BJ went above and beyond - very hospitable and friendly. We arrived later than planned and...
