"Very mixed experience. The hotel is centrally placed for Piazza Armerina. Clearly much money has been spent on the inside but it is at best a 2*. Had difficulty raising reception on arrival. Eventually a chamber maid arrived to do this. There was no room cleaning. Had to ask twice for toilet paper. No bathroom cleaning. No bed making. Breakfast was truly laughable. Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all.
