"Cabin was what was described. The TV was not working and WiFi was poor to say the least. The room was clean, but we did get quite a few mosquito bites at night—-but let’s be real, it’s a campground. Bed and sheets were clean. Staff spoke “okay English” but they were super friendly and did their best. They advertise private beach with chairs, but these are not included in the fee. "We really enjoyed staying at Camping River Village. It was a nice change of pace from the usual hotels during our 3 week tour of Italy. Our children loved the pool and playground. The cabin was clean but cramped. But it did the trick. Be aware you have to pay extra for sheets and towels! It was a convenient location to visit Cinque Terra. "

"Stunning views from every angle of the property. So many nice spots to eat, drink and socialise. And the pool, the pool totally over delivered. We spent so much time there with the kids using the umbrellas to provide shade from the heat. The air conditioning was amazing. The drive to the property entertaining also. "Alberico's house is simply enchanting and so is the hamlet of Ponzanello. You really feel like you're stepping back in time (except you have access to all the modern amenities which is great)! The location is perfect if you have a car, about a hour drive to Cinque Terre, plenty of vineyards and other medieval villages to visit in the surroundings."
