"Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Émilie dans cette charmante commune d'Asté. Le logement est conforme à sa description. On y est au calme et c'était un plaisir d'y passer ces quelques jours. Les activités autour d'Asté sont nombreuses. Nous avons pu profiter : - des grottes de Medous. - de balades autour du Tourmalet et du Chiroulet. Vraiment un super séjour ! Merci."

"No welcome instructions sent, had to call the owner who asked us why we were phoning! However...Nice gîte in quiet location not too far from cable car (journey 5 mins by car) to ski station. Comfy real fire and multi fuel burner. Faded living area. Nice bathroom and nice enough second bathroom. Good enough kitchen but some things missing eg. cheese grater a good knife...a few things like that. Generally a nice place to stay but needs some TLC and more dinner plates (only 3 there and about 40...

The welcome book was entirely in French we tried to translate as much as we could but hopeless. So we never did find out about the restaurants and supermarkets until practically the last day. "Très agréable séjour d’été dans cette maisonnette. Nous étions deux adultes et un enfant à venir découvrir cette jolie région. Petite maison très agréable et bien équipée, petit jardin à la bonne taille pour nous. La localisation est très bien pour sillonner la région et visiter de grands lieux (cirque de Gavarnie, balades à Luz, les termes etc…) Les autres avis partagés ont été utiles pour bien choisir. "Beautiful property, built to highest quality. But had a few issues. No expense was spared in making this barn conversion. Kitchen appliances top class. Downstairs is roomy and decor is gorgeous. Upstairs is also nice, but difficult spiral staircase & cramped. No Wardrobe in main bedroom. TV did not work all week and microwave was faulty. No washing up liquid provided, just one toilet roll and no new sponges for washing up etc. Daily smells from septic tank for small periods. If all goes well...

"Loved this place, great location for all amenities and lots to do in the area. The dog loved the area too. My son is 11 and never got bored!! We cycled the Col de Tourmalet, paraglided, kayak, paddle board and lots of walking. Would highly reccommend the property as it had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay. 😁"
