"Great stay! Location was excellent, we were able to walk to Ballaro Market and Quattro Canti. Breakfast was delicious and the room itself was comfortable. Staff was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again! "

"Un accueil parfait sauf que pendant la réservation il n'a ete stipulé a aucun moment que la piscine et le spa ne faisait pas partie de la réservation. Pour pouvoir utiliser le spa et puscine il fallait encire payer 90€/ pers pour 1h30. Sans conter que la restauration etait fermée. Mise a part ça, l'ensemble du personnel etait vraiment sympas et à l'ecoute malgré le problème de langue. "

"Very sorry to leave this review, I am 188cm tall, I booked a single room, there was no information prior to say the shower and ceiling height was massively reduced in size, I could not stand up to shower, I have a neck injury and it was very uncomfortable. Room was fine otherwise warning really for tall people! I booked this as part of a longer trip to sicily, specifically for the pool, which they closed on my second hot day. "This accommodation had an excellent location, just off a quiet street and felt very safe and secure. There was a lift to our place. The furniture was a little old and basic, but it suited our needs and the location made up for the "frugality" (e.g. no corkscrew, shower gel etc - unless you pay extra). But I shouldn't quibble as we had a great time!"

"Location central and close to rail but property is more like a hostel than a hotel. Old in all respects with dingy feel but a comfortable bed and good sized room. Don’t expect any luxury. "

"Do not book. This hotel does not align with the photos - it is very cheap materials and construction. My husband was locked in the bathroom for almost an hour, the elevator broke, and the front door to our room wouldn’t close. We stayed only one night of the 5 we booked and they told us that these issues with the space were our fault and refuse to refund our cancelled nights. Just don’t even book it"

"Sono tornato con piacere in questo Boutique Hotel dove trovo personale cordiale e disponibile, la gente di questa terrà è sempre accogliente e simpatica. Abbiamo avuto colazione top con prodotti del territorio e una vista bellissima sul mare. La suite è pulitissima e spaziosa, con una terrazza ad uso esclusivo dove è possibile rilassarsi in tranquillità. "After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....

"Property located adjacent to very old olive tree orchard. Scenic mountain back drop with ocean view. Spacious upstairs flat with full amenities. Beautiful pool and garden in the yard. Private driveway. Only 2 cons, must have rental car because located in a hard to access part of Trabia, roads are difficult to navigate. And property owners speak very little English, so just plan to use google translate. Highly recommend if you are looking for the real Sicilian experience!"

" We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel et Des Palmes in Palermo for two weeks in January 2025, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the warm and welcoming staff. The entire front desk team and concierge were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"
